The Archdiocese and our faith community stand resolute in our commitment to report allegations of sexual misconduct to law enforcement, support victim-survivors and protect children and the vulnerable.
Please help stop sexual misconduct in our communities by reporting to law enforcement and the Office of Victims Assistance Ministry of the Archdiocese at (800) 355-2545.
“We need to feel the responsibility to protect every child as if he or she was our own son or daughter, our own niece or nephew, our own brother or sister.”
As an expression of our commitment to transparency, the list of names in the original 2004 Report to the People of God has been republished with the current status of those individuals. The 2018 Update lists the names of priests accused of sexual misconduct with minors since 2008.
We work to prevent abuse through our Safeguard the Children Programs on prevention and reporting, fingerprinting and background checks, and clergy formation programs. Every year, more than 165,000 Catholic school and religious education students are taught boundary awareness and tools for reporting.
